CURTI$AY TELL US THREE WAYS TO KNOW REAL LOVE

Curtisay has a new song in the works talking about domestic violence.

Earlier this month Curtisay released a video recording of his new single titled “What Them Know Bout Love”. The song addresses the topic of domestic violence and dishonesty in relationships. This track is scheduled for release on August 1st.

Some of us are familiar with the saying often used by some Jamaican women who are victims of domestic violence “If him nuh beat you him nuh love you”. Well Curtisay is hoping to change that mindset with his new song. The lyrics to track states “WHAT THEM KNOW BOUT LOVE, love nah beat you, nah ill treat you, nah go deceive you”.

Curtisay says “I wrote this song about a friend of mine who was having problems in their relationship. I just wanted to make a song with a great party vibe encouraging women to love themselves first, tell the men to love their women and treat them right”. At the end of the day whether or not the song changes anyone’s minds about being in abusive relationships it has a great message, party vibe and will have you dancing every time you hear it.
